2. Privacy:  We hate spam too and will never disclose your personal information to a third party. You e-mail is required to contact you if you forget your password. Any other personal information is strictly optional. Please don't publicly post phone numbers or mailing addresses

3. No Commercial Posts or "SPAM":   Posting of advertisements for products or services, links to auctions, affiliate links, links to promote websites, and so forth is not allowed.  Links to commercial sites in signatures are not allowed. Exception: Members who have been active for some time with permission will be allowed to put up a commercial or promotional link

4. No Offensive Content:  Do not use profanity, racial, ethnic, religious, or other slurs, or post pornography or any other offensive material. Remember we have people from all over the world of diverse backgrounds.   

5. No Trolling or Intentional Disruptions: Posting intended to start fights (i.e. trolling) is not allowed.

6. No Extended Arguments Intended to Force A Point of View on the Forum: Different viewpoints are welcome, but after everyone has had their say, don't go on and on to "win" an argument. Doing so will alienate anyone you may be attempting to win over and force the moderator to remove or lock posts.  

7. No "Cyber-begging":  Posts attempting to get money donations for pets or people out of luck will be pulled. Exception: If this is associated with not-for-profit rescue it is encouraged.

8. Respect for Other Members:   No name-calling, personal insults, or slander. Exercise common courtesy as if you were face-to-face.

9. No "Pets for Sale" Posts:   Do not advertise "Pets for sale". Posting for rescue or shelter animals encouraged. 

10. Limits on Dog or Cat Breeding Discussion:   We do not endorse the breeding of dogs or cats.  Some leeway will be given if the dog is shown and titled by a reputable organization (e.g. AKC).  If your dog does not have a title then don't discuss breeding. 

11. No Reliance:  While we attempt to weed out bad advise, post here should not be considered expert advise.  

12. Veterinary/Health Questions:  We can't substitute a vet's care. Again, no reliance applies. If your pet is seriously unwell - go to the vet immediately!  Please don't tell us you have no money, because we cant' examine your pet and have no certification.

13. No Multiple Postings:  Doing so may result in removal of all the posts.

14. No All CAPS Messages and No Internet Chat Abbreviations:  In other words, not "hey can u c thiz? L8r!" or "suSaN joNes". Some people here know English as a second language - don't make it hard for them.

15. Do not Ignore the Moderator: We moderate this forum in reasonable manner. Ignoring or disrespect to the moderator may result in time-outs or bannings.
